PRINT: Giclée printing is one of the best print reproduction methods available. It is a process that ensures your prints will never degrade or yellow over time and keeps the brilliant vibrant tonal range of the original painting. The prints’ colour vividness can last in excess of 200 years, lending assurance to collector’s and art buyer’s confidence with this method of printing.
- We have the ability to print to a maximum width of 1.0M with an unlimited height OR Maximum height of 1.0M with an unlimited width
MOUNTING: We offer two styles of mounting that will add an aesthetic quality to your work and create the perfect environment for the viewer to experience your new piece of art.
Float Mounted: To frame artwork in a way that emphasises the texture, shape, edges and curl of the paper it is printed on… float mounting is the best option. Float mounting uses special conservation acid free tapes to hold the artwork in position. This type of mounting emphasises and showcases the texture or edge of the paper.
Window Mounted: The window mount, classically referred to as a ‘passe-partout’, is comprised of an aperture cut into a top mount and an under-mount which provides physical and environmental protection. It provides a border around the visible image, and keeps a gap between the artwork and the glazing.
NB: Our mounts are all white core and Ph Neutral Core & Surface… so won’t damage the artwork.
FRAMING: All original art is framed professionally using high quality wooden bases with painted white surface and pinned & glued corners.
